Dear Niko,

I have followed all the steps from A to Z form the tutorial and read the comments here on the forum, but still it doenst work.

I have changed:
property filename to contact.php,
set method to post,
encoding to application/x-www-form-urlencoded
Buttontype to submit
and pasted the php coding into php tag.

BUT, in the end when i publish either local or to my server, i get contact.php.html. I tried all but my page still ends with HTML.

Thank you very much!

Hi,

you get contact.php.html when you click 'preview'. So that it will show up in your local browser, without a web server. Instead, use the 'Publish to disk' or 'Publish to the internet' feature. Then it will work.

hope this helps!

No, you only need to do what there is in the tutorial. You can send me your .wspd file if you like, and I'll have a look at what your problem is. See Support -> Contact (there is a mail adress on there).

I also had problems with the PHP code. There are characters added in the code. Since the update to 1.5.1 the problem is that the characters are invisible now. With an editor such as Smultron you can compare the code. I've copied the code from Safari, the gray box.

Yes, it was a small bug causing Tab characters on some systems to be converted to html encoded characters. It is fixed in version 1.5.1.
Andy: So your problem also has disappeared, right? If not, just let me know.
