It may be a major undertaking for developers but a nice addition for a future upgrade could be JavaScript syntax checking when adding script code to HTML objects in the editor.
I have just spent hours trying to track why the background color wasn't changing in a text entry box and discovered that I was setting the property "backgroundcolor" when it should have been "backgroundColor".

Yes, that would be nice. It would be possible to add a JavaScript syntax check, but in this case it wouldn't even help: The backgroundColor identifier is a dynamic property of a function object in the DOM, so there is no way to check if this isn't actually what you wanted.
