hi forum, after some layout- and positioning-problems, i've created my testproject. For one problem i need your help. I don't wont a scrollbar in the masterwindow from the browser, the scrollbar should only visible in the contentdiv. I tried in the mastersite body: overflow:hidden; in css: overflow-y:hidden; but without a result. My site: http://www.neu-fi.de/testvwe Any ideas? Don't be irritated if you got a googlewarning, the site is cleaned and i'm waiting for a rescan from google. Cheers Michael |

If I add a single content placeholder into a master page and use this from a client page, I don't get any scrollbar at all. Looks like you are doing something a bit more complicated? |

hi Niko thanks for your reply. If i put the contentplace into the placeholder on the masterpage i get a scrollbar in the content, but it is not usuable. If i put the contentdiv into the clientside the scrollbat is ok. My problem is, if i have much content in the contentdiv i get a scrollbar, this is ok. But with more content i get a second scrollbar in the "masterwindow" from the browser. This scrollbar i don't want. If you click through the page (1st post), you'll see the problem. As example for the second scrollbar goto "Über uns" or "Meine Katzen". It's the same in Firefox, Opera; IE8,9, Chrome and Safari. Cheers Michael btw. FYI sometimes the program destroy me the buttons i use in the contentdiv on "compile". The button should have colorgradient and get a picture, another button get the wrong picture. Not any time, only sometimes. |
