Yes, this will make it hopefully into the next release because some similar new features into that direction should be added in that version as well.

Any chance to see startRecordingCustomHandledAudio in the .net wrapper in the near future ?
It's the missing piece of the puzzle for me. If not available anytime soon, could you suggest an alternative approach ? I need to continuously intercept and feed the mic-input onto a Sound.
