HI Niko, as always, if you answered to this question previously, if yes just adress me to thread. I would like to have some slideshow with thumbnails under, but I guess this is not possible with WP, and I saw somebody in this forum using Simple Viewer and having good results. (Is there some other software, maybe open source that you suggest?) I downloaded the free version but I don't know how to insert it in the page. SW makes a folder, where to position it? Thanks for your always prompt and useful help!!! |

No, sorry, I don't know any open source or free software for this. But that doesn't mean there isn't some, somewhere :) About SW: I have no experience with it, but basically, I think it doesn't matter where you put that folder, as long as you reference it correctly from your website. |

ciao Niko, that is my problem, don't know how to reference it! I tried to insert these galleries into the website pasting the html code that was given by SW into an html code box, then clicking the preview nothing happens. Maybe doesn't work offline? should I put it online? thanks again! |

Hm, difficult to say. Maybe you are right and it only works online. Otherwise, try to contact the SW guys, they should know better then me :) |

Ok, but is it correct to paste the code given into an html box or are there other ways to include a third party slideshow in WP? then manually add to the wp generated folder the SW folder? |

Yes, that should be correct. You could try and see if unchecking the checkbox "Create Div around code" of the HTML element does anything, but I don't think it should. |
