Format Text in MasterPage Content Placeholder

How do I add code to the Content Placeholder on the MasterPage to format text attributes - specifically font color (d50e09) - of all the pages that are linked to the MasterPage?

Alternatively (or perhaps as well) how do I directly edit the HEX color from the font color selector?

Thanks in advance!

Ken

You are right, there is no way to directly enter a hex color for text attributes. Will add this feature in a future update.

I'm not sure about the content placeholder part: You want to externally specify another text color if a page is included in a master page?

That direct tweaking ability (color=hex) would be really appreciated by amateurs like me who might have specific basic HTML ideas (to match with old web pages created a long, long time ago!"

As for the content placeholder - and please forgive my ignorance as to how things work - The MasterPage makes it so easy to keep consistency of styles for things such as page headers, banners, footers, etc. My question (which might actually be completely impractical) was to wonder if there was any kind of extra script - HTML or whatever - that could be inserted into the content holder on the masterpage that might make a shortcut for local/new page details such as font size/color

Ah, hm, it could be possible, but it would be a lot of work. Basically you could add ids or CSS classes to your items and add a CSS rule to your master page. But it would be quite a lot of work and involves coding. So I guess formatting it manually would probably be quicker, or at least similar quickly.

Thanks again for your reply, Niko.

It has occurred to me that a simple way to specify font colors by HEX or locally change other page details is (a reply in another thread):

You can use the Command "View -> HTML Code of Page" and enter your own meta tags in the "Additional code in header" part.

One other question about the MasterPage Content Placeholder: how do I enable it to dynamically resize itself to fit content of the various pages that refer to it?

(EDIT)

Disregard that last question. I should have spent more time playing around with all of the available elements first. It seems I've been making things unnecessarily complex for myself :-)

Kudos on the program! It boggled me a little at first but, the more I play with it, the more I am loving it.

Cheers!
