Hi,

I would put the sound behind your head.
I tried to enter these coordinates, but the position is not correct.
If I insert z-axis exceeds the value 2, the sound is no longer heard.

Vector3D(0, 0, -2)
irrKlangEngine.SetListenerPosition(0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)
irrKlangEngine.Play3D(file.wav, pos.X, pos.Y, pos.Z)
isoundGear.Volume = 1

If the code is correct, the error is somewhere else.

🔎︎

thanks

The volume of a 3D sound is influenced at most by the minimal distance. Use setMinDistance(20.0f) for example to make it louder.
Also, what driver are you using, I assume directsound?

thanks for the reply.
I messed with maxDistance and minDistance.
It works perfectly. Thank you
