When I try to save my website, made with RC, I get the message: Could not write file.
There is no read-only labeled to the rcd file nor to the holding directory, nor to any other file in that map.
Could anyone help me to solve this?

Did you try to save it to a different place? Maybe try another folder or file name. Are you using the menu File -> Save as?
Also, what operating sytem are you using?

Congratulations on a fine product.

I admittedly only know enough to be dangerous. I've been using Dreamweaver for many, many years. I get the job done but I'm usually lost at how I did it.

I built a site using your software and it all went well and was intuitive for the most part. One thing I'm struggling with is just where is the code? Once I ftp the website up to my server I see normal files but I have no idea where they are locally on my PC. If I make changes to add code for adwords, etc I cannot download a revised copy of the files from my webserver and then open them locally to make changes.

The files seem to be packaged up in a single file. How do I bring them back and recreate that file?

You only need to click "publish to local disk" or "publish to internet" and it will generate the code where you want it to have.
