Move something from point A to point B?

Hi.

I know I can add a path and make any object follow the path. But what I would like to do is make objects move from A to B where the position of B may even change and find their own ways without a predefined path and avoid obsticles.

For example make animals attack the player on sight while don't get stuck in a rock or something when find their way toward the player..
It would be nice if I could sort of create a path from point A (animal) to point B (player) during runtime but I didn't find an option for that.

Is there an easy way to do this in CopperCube or I need to come up with my own path system for this?

Thanks.

Try to use the melee attack script posted before in the forum

Thank you for the link.

I tried but unfortunately it doesn't seem to go around obstacles and find a path to the player as I want.

It could work in scenarios where the enemy is really dump and attack only if see the player but as soon the player hide behind something they stop, well in this case they try to move through the wall XD.

What I'm really would like to do is that if the player is in visual range of the enemy, than the enemy store it last known location in a variable and find a path to that location by avoiding obstacles and stop only if get to the last known position but the player is no longer in visible range. So a bit more advanced than this meele AI seem to be :(
I was hoping there is a path finding built in to CC, most game engines have it.

By the way, is there any central location where all these examples, codes are collected or do I need to browse through the forum to find these gems?

Zoo did a good job getting together resources like this one and hosting them and a community of ccb devs on https://marshtownmadness.com

Thanks. I did actually know about that one but I can't really find community made content on that page also find hard to read the font and to download free content from the website that I assume made by Zoo I need to go through an online shop with cart and checkout and enter personal details. So I didn't spend too much time browsing the place.

Surprise me no one has made an attempt to organize on a single page/blog all the community made content and resources.
