How do I create a backup copy of my project?
So that all used elements (pictures etc) are integrated in the project.
If I see it right, the links in the project are always the original files. Once these are moved or deleted, the project is destroyed too - right?

No, AFAIK, it integrates all files into the .rcd file. You only need to backup that .rcd file. If you want to test it, just copy it onto another PC and open it there, it should work.
