My character isn't facing the right direction when he walks around! He faces the opposite direction. If you could add "additional rotation" to it that might fix it!

You mean the downloadable "Move object by click into 3D world" behavior?

I use that plugin and I added the behaviour: "Game actor with health" - set it to "this is player" and at the bottom of that I could set the additional rotation settings and it was fine.
