WebGL: Controlling App from External Links

Is it possible to trigger actions within the CopperCube app in a browser window, by clicking on links external to the app but in the same browser window?

For example: I have a CopperCube based model Configurator in a web page using the WebGL target, and I want the user to be able to change textures on the model to see how it looks, but I don't want to use a 2D overlay, instead I want to use links on the web page but external to the CopperCube display canvas.

Is this possible? How can I call the CopperCube engine and trigger the action from outside the Canvas?

May thanks.

Yes, it is all normal JavaScript. You can run your JavaScript functions also from outside, using the same ccbSetSceneNodeProperty(...) calls as always.
