For now there is no date planned when a 64 bit version will be released, sorry.

Why isn't a 64bit version planned ? It's just compiling the library for a different target, and 64bits computers are getting common ..

For now we hadn't that many requests for 64 bit versions, and it's a bit more to do than just compiling the library for a new target because it's written in C++ and there are some few other things you have to look out for. But let's see, your request adds another one :)

Cool :) I guess you will have more and more requests, because 64bits OSes are now fully mature.

+1 request.
At the moment FMOD and BASS are the only two options we are considering for projects because of x64 support. Irrklang performs better in my benchmarks than BASS and costs a lot less for the licensing we'll need than FMOD so I hope x64 support is taken seriously one day soon.

being that most new computer now run 64bit systems there should be a 64bit version.
