Bug with inserting hyperlinks

I right-click an image and then select "Edit Hyperlink", then select "JavaScript" as the link and enter some text for the URL field.

Later, when I edit the same hyperlink, instead of "JavaScript" being selected it shows "HTML" instead, so when I choose "JavaScript" it has lost the text I entered in the URL field before.

The expected behavior is that editing a hyperlink should correctly show the hyperlink type (HTML, JavaScript, mailto, etc) with the correct text that was entered for that type before.

This bug is preventing me using my paid Pro version.

I think that's how RocketCake works, the box is just for selecting a template. At least that's what I think how it is supposed to work. But the text you have in there should still remain.

But maybe I misunderstand your problem.

So the selection and custom text for the hyperlink is not remembered? We can't go back and edit our JavaScript text later for that hyperlink? That's ridiculous, and has to be a bug.

Sounds like a bug from what you describe - I'd just send your .rcd file to support and let them know about it. Usually they are really quick in helping out.

Hi,
I think it is really a bug, but not about the function. Always there is the description 'website'.

I inserted a link like 'mailto' and when I look later, there is Always 'website' and no JavaScript..

When You'll change the entries, only Change the url-entries and it works.
When you Change the link (website, javascript or other), then the url-entry will be erase.

Bupp, yes, that's exactly what I mean. It doesn't remember the hyperlink type, and your hyperlink data is lost if you need to come back and edit it. Not good.
