Hi,

CopperCube 6.0 has just been released. This release contains a lot new features, and also this major change:

CopperCube is now free.

You can develop games, sell them, publish them on Steam, any App Store, any website, for free now.

In order to support the future development of CopperCube, there are also two additional editions available with a few more features which can be bought: Professional and Studio edition.

The changes in the release are:

- Post-Processing Effects
- Full FBX import with Animation
- New lighting system
- Unified colors and lighting
- DDS support
- WebGL 2 support
- Loading screen image
- Multi Selection
- WebGL automatic pointer lock
- Freeze Scale command
- Better Wireframe mode
- Automatic DirectX installer
- Scene Metrics tool
- Nicer User Interface
- More terrain generation options
- Lots of performance improvements
- Updated Lightmapper
- Improved OpenGL renderer
- Improved WebGL font rendering
- Automatic clip prevention for FPS camera children
- Preview of new D3D 11 renderer (alpha, not public yet)
- and many more smaller new features

A great release. I'm sure the activity for this forum is gonna skyrocket now that a mostly fully-featured free edition is available! Great job, Niko.

Is really good! Thanks for this great engine!
but...

I found some bugs:

- When you click on object in editor, explorer doesn't select and focus on this!

- Clip prevention for FPS camera children is not work for children of childrens object and i still have this problem...

Also i can't get an update from 5 pro edition in update page, i dont know why...

About the select and focus: It works as before: One click is select, double-click is select and focus. But maybe I'm doing something different than you, or it is the scene. Any more details?

Clip prevention: You are right, doesn't work for children of children. Will fix this. As always after a major release, there will probably be a quick fix update in the next weeks.

For upgrade: Send me a mail, and I'll check this.

In CCB 5, when i click to object in 3D editor, explorer window will be scroll down to selected object, think this bug about new feature (store closed folders)

This phantom mesh bug is still here. Could you please check?

The new6 files are from the last CC version.

You may see the cube going up on closing to it, but you cannot go through the place where it was. You may jump over it though. Like the cube is still standing on its place.

Never mind my previous post Niko, I see those new D3D 11 additions have not been made public yet. Can you let us know what those will be?

It looks like normal maps on animated meshes seem to work in OpenGl mode but no shadow or specularity.

I upgraded, as I said in another post, to the pro version. I support Niko and have been for many years.

Are PBR textures available? Is it coming soon?
