Custom Lightmaps on second UV

Hello,

I've been trying to figure out for two days now how to import FBX or DAE so that CC registers model with two textures (diffuse & lightmap) & two UVs (for diffuse & lightmap). So far I only managed to import DAE with two textures but with the same UV map :(

I haven't found anything useful about this. There is this post:
https://www.ambiera.com/forum.php?t=5104
...where user suggests using Open Collada plugin for 3DS Max but I don't have Max.

I model & lightmap all my assets in Blender, here is a screen of my test-model in Blender:

So far I have tried:
Importing Blender's project file (blend).
Exporting with Blender to FBX and DAE.
Exporting from Blender to FBX and DAE, importing to ThreeJS Editor and exporting from ThreeJS Editor to DAE.
Exporting with Blender to JSON, importing to ThreeJS Editor and exporting from ThreeJS Editor to DAE.
Exporting from Blender to FBX and DAE, importing to ClaraIO and exporting from ClaraIO to FBX and DAE.

The two UVs are there, they are displayed differently depending from the editor but they are functional :(

Clara.io editor:

At this point I'm not sure if two UVs are possible with Copper, as I mentioned I did manage to import two textures with the same UV. If anyone managed to do it ( without using 3DS MAX ) I would be very grateful for any information on the programs & process used :)

I don't think CC supports this, the only way to do it is to bake them into one texture, but I might be wrong.

Finally I got the UVs working! :) ...it took me 5 days of experimenting but, in my defense, I wasn't really familiar with B3D format, never worked with it before.

@Erik Thank you for replying. I gathered that CC supports this method (or similar) because the lightmapping in CC also creates new images with different UVs. They could be the same UV (as diffuse map UV) but cut-up into smaller parts, I'm not sure.

Anyway if someone else would like to import model from Blender to CC with lightmaps here is the process:

- Create model with diffuse & lightmaps in Blender.
- Export model from Blender in B3D format.
- Import model in B3D format to Copper Cube.

The B3D exporter that worked for me can be downloaded here:
http://www.rtsoft.com/forums/sho...

The Blender version I'm using is 2.79 that can be downloaded from here:
http://download.blender.org/rele...

So this process is probably not the best, I never worked with B3D format, I'm not sure about it's limitations. It seems that it's a native format of Blitz3D which derived from Blitz BASIC, language that was created for the Amiga platform. There are a lots of B3D models floating around, both static & animated, so it was probably a popular format at one point.

I'm not sure why I failed in my attempts with FBX & DAE second UVs, I guess it's some sort of a compatibility issue. I did notice that, both in CC lightmapped model and B3D lightmapped model, users can't access lightmap material through Materials tab. It's only visible in Texture Window.

Just one small warning: If you try to switch between Lighting modes in Materials Tab of the model, the lightmap texture disappears :D If that happens just go to Scene Graph Explorer, right-click on model and go to Modify Selection > Reload this mesh from disk.

Hopefully someone else will find this useful, cheers!
