The property for the first person controlled camera "DisableClippingForChildNodes" does not seem to apply to child nodes of child nodes within the camera.
Say for example my camera had this structure of children:
_FPSCamera | |__ChildOne | |__ChildTwo | |__ChildTwoSubChildOne | |__ChildTwoSubChildTwo | |__ChildTwoSubChildTwoSubChildOne
ChildOne and ChildTwo is stopped from being clipped through walls as the property says. However, ChildTwoSubChildOne, ChildTwoSubChildTwo, and ChildTwoSubChildTwoSubChildOne does NOT be prevented from clipping through walls.
This is a major bug and prevents me from organizing my child nodes!

Yes, thank for reporting! This was already reported before and is already on the list to be fixed.

Sorry to bump & sidetrack this but what are child nodes for camera? Do you use them to switch through different views while keeping FPS camera functionality or is it for something else?

No, this is a bug. It does this with any type of scene node.
