What is the best way to add animations to a 3rd person controller?

I have a cute character with over 30 animations and while the 3rd person camera allows for walk, run, jump and idle, i'd like to add a bunch more of the over 30 animations present in the character.

Is there a javascript example or tutorial on how to do this?

I was able to add a scream animation when the user presses a keyboard key (in this case, the 'z' key), but that will likely change and I plan on making the screen more of a AI animation when close to a bad guy.

Supposing that ,You already know how to change the animation through the editor... But you want to switch the animation via javascript....

Simply use ccbsetscenenodeproperty and ccbgetscenenodeproperty command....to switch the animation... Use property name as Animation...

Hope it will worfk for you..
