Simple to describe, maybe not simple to fix. I have a cube exported from Cheetah 3D 7.2, in fbx 7.5.0 format, with embedded jpg texture. When I try to import it into CopperCube 6.0.1, using the static 3d mesh option,I get the following message: Any thoughts on how to solve this problem please? The file imports into Sketchfab successfully https://skfb.ly/6B6Bp |

I was going to suggest using Ultimate Unwrap 3D Pro to re-save the FBX using a newer exporter (there are many, but 2015 seems to work best), but I believe it's PC only. You will likely need a newer exporter for FBX on the Mac. Also, direct x and b3d (Blitz Basic 3D) work amazingly well for importing static and animated meshes. Mike |

Well. I am not able to see the image you posted.. As @karmacomposer has said... Try using a newer fbx format... I would recommend yoy to use autodesk fbx converter.... Coppercube may not support fbx versions older than 2010... So you may be required to convert your models into latest versions... |

Version 7.5.0 appears to be the most recent version, so it's difficult to try a newer one. |

Then try converting it to a 2013 or 2015 version using autodesk fbx converter or any other exporter as mentioned by @Karmacomposer |

I've downloaded several fbx files from free repositories all of which have the same message. Am I mistaken in thinking that the macOS version of CopperCube can load fbx files? |

Yes, as written in the changelog, the macos version only loads older, and only non-animated fbx files, sorry |

Why is that? I don't know why that would be limited to the Windows version. |

Wow. Glad I don't use Macs. |
