Hey, Niko. How hard would it be to maybe shorten the amount of time it takes to process global illumination for a level model? It takes a very long time even on small areas... It takes way too long to use it and tweak the lighting so it looks better / refine it.
As I play with the lightmapping options I'm finding that you can make decent looking games if you really tweak the light object placements. for my case I have reference images to look at.
Also: Can that 8 light object limit be overcome? I mean when you have over 8 or so, the level will have weird flashing effects.
