Hello,

I am completely new to RocketCake.

I am a musician, and want to create a new website with a lot of audio.
I would appreciate any help with the following task:

I would like to programm several html-Audioplayers on one site of my webpage to be. They are external code, not the Audioplayer that you can find in RocketCake.

How can I put the code in the right place in the html code section?

to illustrate:

first there is some text, then
Audioplayer1
then there is some more text, then
Audioplayer2

Any help highly appreciated.

Hi,

it depends on how the audio player you are using works exactly. But usually, you get some HTML/JavaScript code to insert into your website for this player. This is probably also the case for you, right?

So basically, you create a "HTML Code" element in RocketCake (Menu -> Insert -> Code -> HTML Code", and place it where you want your audio player to appear. Then, double-click that element and paste the code you got from your player there.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

thanks a lot for your reply. I already tried it via the html code element that I can insert where I want.
Unfortunately, it does not work well. The only thing I can see on the site published on the server is a watermark link:
j_query_audioplayer

They give me two bits of Code to be inserted. The first to be inserted before the header and the second via the html code element in the body of the html, leaving out the first and last lines respectively, as they seem to be solely information and not necessary code to be written.

I tried to send you the code, but it tells me: "Your post appears to be spam. Please edit the post and retry."
Then I tried using the Code element from the menu on the right here, but still the same error message as above.

Any ideas on how to make this work? And how to send you code without turning my message into spam?
THanks in advance, best,
KlausG

This is how it looks like on the server:

Looks like you made it work now? From what I can see, it seems to work on the link you've sent. Not sure about the strange symbols on there, are they wanted?
If you still have problems with that, just send me a mail (see support -> contact, there is a mail address listed), there you can also paste any code as well.
