On hold for now. More updates to come :) I'll work on it again once the D3D11 rendering engine becomes available.

I have built a sketchup building model but it is too heavy and lag, I want to reduce the model for lighter, what should I do?

Hmm, it would have been best if you would've posted in a Help topic instead of my announcement, but it's ok.

I like to use Blender for building structures. Keep in mind that CopperCube can generate trees and terrains for you, or, if you want unprecedented control, look into heightmaps (you can use virtually any image - I've used pictures of faces, animals, whatever - wacky results if you use those types of pictures, so I suggest you use images you can make in either Gimp or Photoshop

The level looks really nicely lighted, there's a lot of attention to details that can be seen. Good work.

The only two things that I find a bit off are some of the textures & model's normals. Something like tweaking of the floor & ceiling textures in the second image so that they don't seem so big or ceiling in the third image.

However the ceiling may not be a problem, we are not looking at it from a player (camera) point of view, so it could look different in-game.

As for normals, you can see where the normals have broke-down in red kitchen elements & also on the refrigerator.

Other than that it's very nice looking level.

Thanks!

Ah, you're right. The kitchen has some wacky normals. I'll fix that ASAP!

As for the ceiling and floor textures, the camera is positioned so they both can be seen, but it probably won't catch players' attention too much.

Awesome.... A piece of art... Loved it.. just loved it... A lot of lightmapping can be seen... Which means a lot of hard work...

Appreciate your work..! Great.

Looking at these pictures kind of give me a sense of looking at custom made game levels for the Half-life or Counter Strike games.

Did you use the Hammer editor to make these levels and somehow imported them to Coppercube?

Thanks all! :)

I'll disclose more details regarding this project once it's done. I'd rather not say anything else at the moment :)

...what's with these spam posts lately? This one seems very creepy, it took my comment, changed it a bit & placed links to something. I didn't click on links but I'm guessing they are problematic.

//Edit
The upper post from @lonlylilou almost seems like a regular comment but the link suggests Omegle, I'm sure Omegle has nothing to do with game development or CopperCube. Once again, I didn't follow the links.

Maybe some kind of 'Report' button or something similar would be a good idea to speed up the spam removal.
