This project is on hold for now. CopperCube has had no worthwhile updates in forever. On top of this, you can't be even remotely critical about Niko's way of operating the company. Well, it was nice to have used this engine while I did, but I'm looking elsewhere. Best of luck to everyone who makes games with this...

That's unfortunate, I was kinda hoping you would somehow manage to get around limitations :( The project seemed like it was progressing ahead nicely.
Many people seem to be abandoning their CC projects, I guess it's understandable when confronted with lack of features that they consider vital for their game :(
I know you really experimented with a bunch of workarounds for your project so I believe your decision is very well based.

To put it simply, I can't use Coppercube for this project anymore. It's simply way too limited! The lack of a rotatable camera, along with awful third person controls is forcing me to go elsewhere... That, among other things.

It's because I removed them. I refuse to work on this project with CC for any longer. Simply put, it's not ready for what i want to do... Yeah, it's neat to make simple games, but if you expect to make a full-fledged game with tons of levels and neat features, then you're SOL (as I was)
