Image gallery settings give the option to change the number of columns at particular page widths - but only 1,2 or 3 columns. To expand this, the page css can be amended. By adding, for example: "@media only screen and (max-width:1000px) { gallery_aace7c9 div.galleryimgcontainer { width: 20%; } } " which would show 20% (in my case 5 columns) of the columns at that width. To maintain column settings for 1,2 and 3, they must be all be replicated after this new added entry. Is it something that could be built into gallery settings? There appears to be a problem with gallery when specifying ColumnCount which seems to dislike even numbers! I maintain 3 sites with Rocket Cake and wouldn't use anything else. Worth every penny. |

You mean you need more than settings for 3 columns built-in, basically? |

Yes. I have 7 columns in the gallery on a full width page. I have 7 column settings ranging from 15% to 100%. No matter what width the user chooses the images are presented at approximately the same size. With just 3 column settings, the images can resize significantly before the next setting reduces the number of columns and returns the image to the required size. And why restrict to 1,2 or 3 columns? It isn't a problem adding css - it would be easier if the settings had the option to set more columns. |
