My image gallery publishes locally but when I publish to a domain, 3 in this case, it turns the page into total rubbish. As a test I did an image gallery inside and outside a container, result the same. If I publish individual images inside a container, no problem. This means though that I can't use text underneath the image unless in an text box which I then have to place each time. Any help would be appreciated. |

Maybe you could post a screenshot or a link? |

I have just realised that there is a duplicate image file created, rwb_1 etc which has to be uploaded to a domain not necessarily with the original image, and that it is this duplicate that is actually published on a web page. This rwb file does not seem to be able to be renamed so I think a good record must be kept matching the original image with the duplicate filename. Nothing in the help pages about this that I could find. Have I got this right? |

Yes, I think it uses multiple images for various resolutions, so that's probably what's happening there. |

OK Thanks. I can now publish a multiple image gallery with a lot of different resolution images. A right click on a failed image shows the image name it needs. |

I think I understand what is happening here but I don't understand how to fix it. Example I created a web gallery and I select the "Image File" to insert -using a high resolution. The application creates an acceptable resolution for the full size image and makes that image the image you will see when you click on the link. The "gallery" image is a reduced thumbnail automatically generated. Now that works fine until you want to change the image. The new image opens when you click on the link image but the link image is still the old image. It's hard to explain but if you go to this site you'll see the problem https://www.johnplattcapstonecon... Click on the last thumnail on the bottom. The image I want you to see is what appears after the click. The thumbnail is the image from the previous image I had there. |

That's strange, are you sure you uploaded all the images? You could also try to force RocketCake to update this by copying your image on the disk, renaming it to something different and linking it again into the gallery. |

I still can't fix this problem. RC is generating the "rwb" file. When I open that file on the desktop the image is as it should be but when I look at the image online the rwb file shows the old image that isn't even there. I'm stumped! |

After hours of frustration, I switched browsers - All is well. A simple mistake. Have to remind myself to clear the cache and browser history. |
