Oh wow! I tell you, I am in love with it! every day for months I've been playing with it.
Also, I've found a way to use it to animate (sort of like we do in claymation, also known as: stop motion) in which we can pose, say 3 poses for walking: righ foot forward, middle and back, then we can import from Coppercube and set 4 values for a variable npcwalking as follows:
1 right foot forward
2 middle
3 left foot forward
4 middle (loop)
So you are going to have the middle character be the main, and you are going to import 2 more (forward and back models) which are going to dress up with an invisible texture....
For each of the steps you then change the texture to be visible on the corresponding step!
It worked awesome for me and so that's how I easily got to animate a walk cycle without using bones or armature or the difficult blender... Only CraftStudio!
Actually the npcs you see walking on the sidewalk are animated just like this!

I installed it, but then it ask me to log in, I noped out.
I don't want to log in to anything just to use a program.

You know...you are definitely unto something here with the way you animate the walk cycle without using armature...

Do you know you are quite an innovative guy ?!

Oh thanks friend! I believe there is a guy called Just in Case, he is probably the most helpful guy around. He has thrown in some tips for me, and I guess he has used this animation technique before (if I remember him saying it, maybe on his GTA Vice City
knockoff).. so I may not be the inventor hahah!

In regards to the login, well yeah unfortunate that we can't use the program offline... but the program has always been like this, plus, the guy who made it does not support it anymore, even though he knows his program got a lot of popularity due to the success of the upcoming game which uses this very program called Hytale (to be released in 2021 for PC)

Now regarding your question:

(guess i forgot to mention) I only use the the every few seconds thingy. I set it to 250ms! that is the timing for each walk step. You can see that inside the ccb file if you click on one of the pedestrians on the left sidewalk.

You know you can actually animate anything with this kind of technique. All you got to think of is how many poses you're gonna have for each animation and its timing...

Just in Case is a rather elusive personnel.
He don't always respond to you, but when he does, he helps a lot.

Latest update today includes new javascript with clever but easy animation features, (thanks to code edited by user Just In Case) turning lights on/off.
It isn´t easy to make this version to share as I have to carefully strip off some content, deleting lots of animated npcs off the town and changing the texture of others, so if you find something "off", let me know and I´ll correct asap (like I said before this is more for my own fun, so that is why I have my own separate version).
Next I will try to make the wandering npc (fafa) make its going places choices read from javascript.. I am still experimenting and so far it has not worked.. so the next version should have the AI read from javascript. I also have to learn how to instance from a folder so a second wandering npc can be added.
As always, you can pick up the ccb and do it for us and it will become the default version here! :D cheers!

Aloan, congratulations for the hard work you put in your CopperCube game.

I played a few minutes with your shared version where I can see that big village with all those animated figures that you created yourself. The sounds and music are pleasant.

Very young children will enjoy exploring that village in your game.

:-)
