What programs I should use to create terrain in CopperCube ? |

For great height maps goto: http://terrain.party Search for an area in the world you want to download whatever size you like. Then adjust the scale in GIMP / PhotoShop etc to 256x256 or 384x384 - something like that so its not too many polygons when you load the height map into CC. Use the merge file png one for that also. Can get some great terrain that way very easily.. |

Use the Landscape Plugin that comes FREE with Blender ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzaMlKiQlK0 This was what I used ! Go to the one minute mark to see the terrain in 3D. It has random feature where you can click and see what comes so no terrain looks the same if that is your intention. And it can be as dense or low poly as you want, you set it, you're the boss. USE BLENDER USE BLENDER USE BLENDER! |
