I have been thinking about making music videos. If you use CC and save as .exe file you can add some keyboard control you couldn't do with a regular video file. (Mac works different with CC so you would have to change some controls)

Nicely done and I enjoyed the music cheers.

From my experience to optimise performance reduce the number of behaviors that run as they run every frame most of the time unless have a delta time adjustment in them.

Also reduce too many actions after that as can be a similiar proble as above.

I only run things when needed to still look ok so fastest (after a few behaviors) is every 50ms and slowest is every 7 seconds. This seems to make a difference.

I dont make use of much vegetation or trees in my game as based on alien planet so dont have to worry about that so much. My game can run well on an old laptop at around 55 fps...

I just worked out how to optimise weather effects over large maps areas - just have 2x lots of particle effects setup and just move the first generated one to the players location if he has moved 10% of the way away from the 2nd one and keep swapping between the two.....got it working well and not using too much cpu power also..

thanks Robo -

this is just something I have been thinking about.. didn't really put much work into it. ( used stuff I already had) But maybe I will do one really nice for next Christmas... and do more (like you mentioned) to reduce graphics.

thanks for you input

Very cool count2rfeit!

I enjoyed the use of the music and the graphics..maybe some rabbits or Deer quietly walking across the path or birds.

Very peaceful and I like the glowing doorway.

best
