which file do you try to open?
a .html file or the .rcd file.

and how do you try to open it? with doubleclick in the explorer?

The website (it must be the 'index.html' an any other .html in the folder you published from RC)
Then you'll see it in the Webbrowser.

The .rcd-file (Project from RC), every time I open this inner RC.

I saved my website in my document and when I try to open it with RC to change something it say

Error loading document '/Users/marliesvanderwijngaard/Desktop/rocket hex/markten.html', the document is corrupted or is no Web Builder file.

Marlies, you cannot open a .html file with RC!
You must open the file with the extension .rcd of your project.

Perhaps you'll find in RC Menu 'the last opened files'.
If not, you'll know the place where you saved this file

example: YourProject.rcd

If you are on Mac, you might have saved it somehow without that extension. Look into your documents folder and see if there is a file which might be it and try to open that.

Alternatively: You can just start RocketCake, then use the top menu and select "File" (or "Datei") and then "recent files" (or "Letzte Dokumente") and see if it is there. Then select that.

I have a Mac. I can make a new website but how must I save that one so it is possible to work later with it?
save as a template? It is not possible to open the old one, there are only html pages.

Just use the menu "File -> Save" to save your project.
