too bad no one responded! do a google search on this site using site: www.ambiera.com and search for elevator example! some guy did a ccb with that which is in itself a moving platform! |

To create a moving platform with the player on it you need to code both the platform and the player to move the same way at the same time in the code/drop down menus. The player on a moving platform wont move with the platform by default so just have it to also move the player the exact same amount and direction as the platform itself - will work fine then. One thing I noticed though is that the player is stuck in place while being moved along with the platform...this is with gravity on. Not sure what happens if you were to say turn root scene node gravity off...can the player move on a moving platform then ?.. |
