Hi I've been trying to export my scene in html and then upload it to a website ( itch.io) to try it but it's empty, from what I understand the html file that I'm uploading doesn't contain the files in itself (?) . well to make it easier, how do you export in html succesfully so that I can access it from another computer let's say? thanks |

Hi fred. Yesterday i uploaded my first itch.io game using coppercube. You need to zip the copperlicht file with the html file. You should get the copperlicht folder when u publish it. After zipping the file. Go inside and change the name of html file to "index.html". Then upload the file to itch.io. It should work. If you didn't understand then tell me. I can explain it to you again. |

wow thank you that actually works, I think the trick stands in changing the name of the file after it's been zipped. However it works with a project in which I have a mesh that is controlled as a character, in another project where I just use the camera in fps on itch io I get a message saying "Archive contains filename with non UTF-8 Encoded characters" does that mean that I need to parent something else to the camera or something like that so that it is recognized as a character? edit the utf8 problem was just because of a file in my archive with an accent, so avoid that! by the way thanks that helped quite a bit.
