Hello there,

I recently installed Coppercube only a few days ago and I am trying to make a fighting game with a roster of various different characters. The style of gameplay I'm going for is that of Godzilla: Save The Earth, so 3D environments to roam around and 2-6 players (of course singleplayer so it's not a mandatory multi-player game).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

I also would like to know if it's possible to make a selection screen for the fighters and arenas, so if any of you could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Long story short, this engine has no multiplayer support what so ever. Nor does it have good AI. I'd recommend Unity if you'd want to make a game like that.

No default multiplayer that's true but a few others have got something working in that department for CopperCube, unsure if fully working or partial.

CopperCube doesn't have good AI that's true but from what I know neither does unity or any game engine for that matter unless you program that in the engine yourself. No game engine comes with top of the line AI by default - maybe there are things in other engines you can purchase afterwards - most likely.

The main thing for this game is the animations that can be bought and most times will work in CopperCube. Its then up to the programmer to link the animations and attacks together to make sense - just as you would do in any game engine.

So in summary, I didn't see anything in the video you could not program into CopperCube. If you use Unity then you will still be programming the same things in - just different language instead of Javascript.

Thanks! That gives me some hope that I can pull this off! Been wanting to do a game like this for years.

yes selection screens are quite possible and not that difficult to make. you can make a variable for the different selections and save the variable valve the player selects - then load that value to your main game play scene
