ok - so, the screen resolution of the computer system the player is using, effects the location of your 2D overlays. The smaller the screen, the closer to each other the overlays are. And the smaller the overlay appears, your text might not show completely on the overlay. Does anyone know away to fix this? besides making a different version of your game for all the different screen sizes people use... or at least the most common |

There is an option available for 2D overlays named as Postiion mode... there will be 2 modes to select from one is relative(Percent) and another is absolute (Pixels)... try those option it might help you |

thanks just_in_case for your help. but the screen resolution is done in pixels - so different screen sizes has different number of pixels - changing the position mode doesn't really help with where the 2D overlay is displayed when the game is set to 'full screen'. the only solution I have found so far is to set the window mode ( under publish) to a fixed size (I have been using 1280x800) but I don't how like the game looks when displayed on a larger screen (1920x1080)... but it does keep the 2D overlays in the same place. oh well, nothing is perfect again, thanks for your reply |

What "Just In Case" means is..... Set the position of the 2D overlay using "percentage" position, not by "absolute" position..... 50 "Percent" will be the middle of the screen and will not vary if the resolution changes. 50 "Pixels" will be to the left of the screen and will vary depending on screen resolution. |
