Hey guys, I have posted first part of my video tutorial series on how to create 2D games in coppercube without coding.

First video is quite lengthy and the voice quality is not good. I will try to improve it in upcoming videos.
In this videos i created some mistakes intentionally and showed how to overcome and resolve them those are common mistakes and sometimes can be quite frustrating when creating large scenes.

there is no fast forwarding and trimming at all in this video you have to watch it whole but it can be good for beginners to get started with who wants step by step tutorials.

Hopefully future videos will be more productive and will be of better quality.

Also please do give feedback about the Logo Design and Channel Art. I also had created an intro video with the logo design but was unfortunately not be able attach it to the video but in future videos if everything goes right you guys will be presented with different intro in each upcoming video.

After this 2D plat-former game series am planning to do a video on writing shaders for coppercube.

So here is the link to the YouTube video tutorial:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

If you want to see the little intro video, i have uploaded it separately here:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

do comment your feedback and any suggestion on how i can improve my videos...

Do subscribe the channel to see more content like this in future.

Note:- This channel was previously named as "Just In Case" but is now got a new name "Glitched Velocity". You can still watch old videos on the channel. Nothing has been removed.

thank you just_in_case. I am a subscriber to your YouTube channel and am looking forward to a video about writing shaders for CC...

your 'into' looks very good. I really like the black and white screen. it really has a retro type feel to it.

thanks for all the help you have given us...

Way to go just_in_case !
Don't worry, we all have to start somewhere, eventually your video quality will get better and better but don't rush it, it will improve on its own slowly :D

PS: Is that an Indian Accent ?

@count2rfeit thanks a lot, and yeah i will upload the video on shaders too...

@bracer thanks that made me feel good, it took me a lot of time creating this video and yup you are right maybe am rushing.

Yup that is an indian accent but i have this strange problem and you might notice in my videos that my accent and my vocals fluctuate too much... I don't know how my original vocals sounds like..its like am mimicing someone else hehehe

My vocals are only reason i don't post videos with my voice but am changing myself and as you said everybody has to start somewhere

Really very good video just_in_case - you show all the problems that come up also, not just what to do only...

Best video on CopperCube to date I have seen - including my own ones :)

just_in_case, I know what you mean, let me share my experiences with you so that you feel better.

When I first started out, I too am bouncing back and forth a LOT with accents, this is because you and me both would like to be understood accent wise and yet we are still grounded in our origin.

This can be easily resolved, for me it took about three years, keep on watching accent training videos in youtube.

Aim for understandability, after a while I went from trying too hard to sound like something I am not to simply aiming to sound understandable.

You can do it...and remember if you have any issues with the technicals of making video, let me know so that I can help you.

in the tutorial i have shown you how create a camera follow to the player and how to fix animation switching problems with the player. Hopefully in the next video we will do the level designing and will fix some issues here and there and i will share you some tips and tricks which are really good while level designing. specially when creating 2D platformer games. and then we will go with the enemies and collectibles.

hope you will like the video, and ignore any mistakes I had made in the video.
