I just purchased the Rocketcake program and have a few questions I already have the free version and used it for a few days before I purchased the pro version: do I have to uninstall the free version BEFORE I install the pro version? I ask because I have an incomplete website built in the free version and don't want to lose the work if I don't need to! Also when creating a website and "saving" the project should I set up a folder to save to Or does the program automatically send the saved websites to a pre-designated folder? Cheers! |

Depending on which version you use (platform, from which store), you can use both versions at the same time, but it is best to uninstall the free version before, so you don't confuse the two. When you save your website into a .rcd file, everything will be included in there (like images etc), but I think it won't include files you link for download (like .pdf downloads and similar) |

Erik, Thanks for your response! When you save a web page/project does it get saved to a pre-assigned folder within the Rocketcake program or do I have to set up a folder on my desktop specifically to receive ALL the saved Rocketcake files ready to publish to my host?? |

No, everything need for your project is saved inside the .rcd file you specify. The generated .html files are created when you click "publish to local disk" and you can save them anywhere you want. |
