It's not safe from people with technical know-how, but you can disable the context menu for your website like this: In RocketCake, click View -> HTML Code of Page -> Additional Attributes in Body There, enter this: oncontext_menu="return false" (Remove all "_" characters, this forum didn't let me enter the code otherwise. Also be sure that the first character is a space.) |

Hello, For any raison, it does not work. I did copy the texte at the right place without any fault and I also respected the space . I saved it and published it on the distant site. Nevertheless, it is still possible to copy/paste the pictures. Thanks anyway for your help. Regards |

Please find below copy of my entry : </head> <body oncontext menu = "return false"> <div class="textstyle1"> <div id="container_15ec8179"> <div id="container_15ec8179_padding" > |

Oh, sorry, I wrote it wrong, I meant on context menu="return false" With all spaces removed, (so write "on context menu" as single word), only with a space in the beginning). Sorry. Corrected the code above. |

Hi guinel, in fact there is no really usable way to secure a photo / picture you present over the web!! Even if you use a way that the viewer can't copy the pic, everybody can take a screenshot. But if you still want to secure your pic, there is a way without using extra code and here comes the "How to do it" 1. make a div container and place your picture in it 2. make a second div container same size with an transparent "gif" or "png" in it and place it as a layer over your "picture div" When someone now makes copy-paste there will only the useless transparent gif/png be saved. Hope I could help and sunny greetings from the beautiful lake "Chiemsee" SteveD123 |

Another and easier way is make da div put your pic as background pic insert the "useless" transparent gif or png in the div (must have the same size as the bg-pic) But all will only work to prevent the copy/paste!!!! the experienced viewer will still get your pic by screenshot or by with this way by let show and copy the background pic Believe it you cant really secure your images on the web Have a nice evening SteveD123 |
