I think for any games made, the VR port is a big consideration to hit wider audiences today. Anyone managed to get a VR version tested on Rift, Quest, and some others?

Pretty much any 3D game will successfully work as VR. Main thing to consider is FOV (field of view) for the cameras.

I use aPS4 headset with vorpex software to convert standard 3D to VR. I link the Headset to my laptop using Trinus PSVR software for tracking (you can also use a webcam.

Most games will work out of the box with just a few changes to FOV.

A poor-man's alternative to full VR is to install reshade and use the VR shader - you can then either just cross your eyes or use a home-made sterographic viewer (google cardboard glasses) or simple red/cyan 3D glasses for $1. Not quite the same as VR but still exciting and you can add a simple hotkey (such as the tab key) to switch between normal and 3D mode.

With CopperCube? It only targets the Oculus DK1 / DK2 developer headsets. Anything else isn't officially supported (and probably won't work - I think someone on the forum got VR to work with some other set, but I can't remember)

It shouldn't really matter that Coppercube only officially targets support for specific OcculusRift headsets - because Coppercube uses DirectX it should work with VorpX (DirectVR) driver. Trinus PSVR then coverts the VorpX output to the PS4 headset.

The Reshade VR plugins definitely work with Coppercube (albeit without head tracking) - tried them already with no FPS drop.

I'll test Coppercube with VorpX and a PS4 headset (with tracking) and get back to you soon with an update (99% sure it will work out of the box).

Thanks Guys, for all this help. Makes me confident, or at the least know that a VR version is possible. That's kinda important for the IF games I am planning where scares and atmosphere will lend themselves suitably well I hope to the VR medium.
