The outer walls of a mesh created with room edit are invisible to my camera when it is outside the room.It only turns visible when I'm inside the room.I experience this problem both in game testing and in the editor. It even happens in built applications. |

sounds like single sided mesh walls - ie single plane. Its normal for single planes be visible from one side only - will be see through from the other side. If you want to stop that make double sided walls - ie make a copy of the plane mesh and position at the exact same spot but reverse the faces.. You can also create walls from a box and just resize to match your walls - will then have doubled sided also. |

yes, the room editor creates single sided walls to be used as interior view of the room. go to the 'Materials' tab for the room you created and click where it says 'Solid' beside the texture to bring up a drop down menu - click on 'Advanced Settings' in the box that comes up, click to check mark the 'Double sided material' - do this for all the textures and then you will be able to see the room from outside |
