Hi
Are the actions that take place in the "every few second..." behavior independent of the frame rate by default?
Or do we have to do something special for this purpose?

seems so yes.

Only 'On frame events' are dependent on frame rate.

Unless specified within each Behavior, I think they generally run every frame so are frame dependent.

You can get around any frame dependent lags using delta time to work out the reduced frame rate and adjust each behavior to suit so still get the same actions done within a set time frame - might looks slightly more jerky but still done within same time period.

Also be aware that if you're drawing/moving something every few seconds - a higher value will sometimes look like it's moving slower than a lower value (especially for cyclical movements such as rotating, pulsing and bouncing etc).

It's called "The Wagon-wheel effect" or "Stroboscopic optical illusion").

While this is probably not your specific it's worth mentioning here as it's something I've encountered along the way with animations and moving objects along paths and rotating objects.
