Hi people. In the search for nice webGL graphics and a not so steep learning curve, and lured by the CC specs and screenies, I gave it a shot.

I like it a lot, but I also noticed a couple of probably unneccessary absences and bugs.

Dynamicly lit meshes fade to white in fog, regardless of fog color, making the two things incompatible (except for white fog). There seems to be no alternative to unlit and dyn.lit, so with fog I'd have no light or shading at all.

The terrain tool is a nice idea, but the grass crossquads often float in mid-air, and are in no way aligned to the ground normals. It should be possible to set the vertex positions to the ground by a shader mod, maintaining their vertical orientation. And I couldn't suggest stronger the following automatic mapping and vegetating of terrain: whereever the slope is too steep for soil to stick, there will be rock. as there is no soil, there is also no vegetation. on highlands and in valleys there is plenty grass. This looks very organic.

What really made me try this is the huge file format support. Coming from Blitz3D, Blender glb export of B3D doesn't support lightmaps, so when I saw CC loaded it, that was cool. But the blendmode was wrong, it was all too bright. So I just darkened the lightmap. But when testing in browser, the lightmap had horrible artefacts. So I had to overwrite the lightmap that CC compressed for filesize too much. After overwriting it with a 100% quality jpg setting, it was then fine. The lightmap still just about 300k.

I general I'd like to see a bit more settings for the objects, like meshes or textures.

I'd also like to render to texture.

I leave it at that, and if I were asking for things that are already there but I just didn't see it - sorry.

I just did, thanks. seems to offer more detailed settings in parallel to the basic CC settings.
