when I create an action script and declare some variable thru the XML property block then i notice quite often that some handfull of lines below this XML block this variable (an int) inside the action function body (prototype.execute) becomes unknown. I try calling the variable as myVar = ... or this.myVar = ... What is going on here ??? |

Really strange, maybe there is a problem with the xml's formatting? |

Can't say much without having a look into actual code, if you can provide a snippet or something to look into. Makesure you are not using some symbols or something else in your action properties name or in the action name. Also are you using "this.myVar" inside a new function in your prototype to acces the action parameters ? |
