I have one button slider as 2d overlay.

I want to know how to make a music volume to goes lower or higher according the button slider (drag) left or right.

If this its diffifult to make someone just tell me how to make a volume of my music file to play lower or higher or even mute music.

All the games had a volume slider in options.

Thanks in advance

A quick and easy way to make music fade in/out (without any coding), is to attach the music (as a 3D sound) to an object (such as a plane). Then move the object away-from/close-to the camera to adjust the volume.

To make a slider using 2D overlay - you could use a series of 2D buttons next to each other so when the user clicks any part of the slider, it moves the music-object to the appropriate distance and fades the volume.

*If you animate the movement of the 3D sound (around 500ms) the volume will nicely fade up/down (instead of using sharp steps).

Maybe, I can try creating an extension for this, Although there is already a volume manager extension available on my website https://neophyte.cf you can download that if you want.

Here is the Usage video on how to use the extension.
