Hi, for PRO version it should be able to open two ore more different projects without closing the program and to copy elements from project to another project. Is this in your plan? Regards from Liechtenstein Rainer |

Just tried it out, this should already work. At least on Windows (didn't try on macOS, maybe that's your os?) |

Hi, yes I'm working on OS 12.0.1, only one site is to open. Regards Rainer |

you can also open RC two times and there you can try copy and paste. |
||||
|
Thanks, no way to do, the open site is closed by open RC a second time. |

Hi designfriend, this might be a little bit tricky, but it works with windows so perhaps you give it a chance. :)) Install RC a second time in an different directory, > start both RC's so you have RC1 +RC2 opened > open your design you want to copy in RC1 > copy the things you want > include the copied parts in RC2 Hope it works Snow greetings from the beautiful Chiemsee Stefan |

why two installations? I think it'S not possible. How I wrote before: You can start RC two times (and more times) and open one project in RC1 and the other in RC2. There you can paste and copy from one to the other - I made it more times before. The best way is to copy containers |

@bupp 1. I tested it to install 2 RC in different directories and opened both RC the same time and believe me it works with windows 7 - other win versions I don't know! 2. designfriend is searching for a problemsolver for OS 12.0.1 Maybe my idea is working with OS 12.0.1 too! |

Yes...bupp is right. |

As a graphic designer I'm working on Mac, and there is no way to open RC two times. When you start an new document, the open document is automatically closed. I think the idea from Stefan seems to be an interesting way for the moment and I'll try it. Thanks for your comments. Regards Rainer |

perhaps there is a misunderstanding. How do they start the document? By double-clicking on the rcd file? Then what you describe happens. The program RC must always be started first and the project file must be opened in the program. You cannot open several projects in the started program. Therefore you have to start the program twice in parallel, |

Start the document first and start the program first, both ways are not working on Mac. |
