I have been a Kompozer user for a few years and am evaluating RocketCake as a replacement. Is there a tutorial that shows how to build a site of multiple pages. I have found some YouTube tutorials but nothing that gives any step by step instructions. Thanks, Jeff |

Here are some, it is recommended to read through the first one, then the basic workflow with RocketCake should be clear: https://www.ambiera.com/rocketca... |

Hello Jeff, some things are not very detailed or covered very well. (I'm new also.) Some tips you may not already know. HunTechic has several videos here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfRzRl2wlNHqcjIJQHidZmA/videos It is suggested most/all elements go in a container if your doing responsive. The Toolset - elements parameters - are controlled in the Properties box. Use "Add Page" in the ribbon or top menu "Insert" to add a page that will show in the Documents box. Change the name in the Properties box. Some suggest to use lower case with no spaces and use an underscore/hyphen to separate text. You can also create layers or subpages with "Insert" and "Add Folder". You can drag the pages around also. Using the menu: Place a menu on a page. Type in the names. (RC does not auto create a menu from pages as some programs.) So right click on a menu name, a box will open and create a hyperlink to any page. Not auto but it does give you a lot of flexibility so you can have different menus or have pages you don't want in a menu. Also try double clicking or right clicking on things. It's master page and buttons up next for me. Not to many rules or details about these either. And the deal with break points in the pro version. Best Regards Donald |
