Hello everyone! I'm trying to make my player be moved when standing on a sideways moving platform. i thought it was as simple as "SetParentNode" when colliding with the platform, but oh boy was i wrong :-D Can someone point me in the right direction how to achieve this? Thanks a lot!! |

You can use @SmnMhmdy's sticky surface extension for that. It allows you to use moving platforms easily. Due to internal collision and global rotaion and position difference between child and parent node, you can't simply make player children of the moving platform and unparent it to get the desiree effect. You need to script in order to acheive this. Luckily Saman aka @SmnMhmdy already created sticky surface script that allows you to use moving platforms. |
