maybe adding a Zoom scroll bar is a good idea?
could be useful if using large terrain model now it takes forever to zoom in and out long distance using the scroll button, if using large models

Agree with you @coa or something like navigation speed control or moving step amount option in CopperCube's settings would be very useful.

For now you could have a look at some workaround as this topic has been discussed before not long ago:

I created a gauge / scrollbar thingy
that works quite nicely now at current state.

consisting of 2 parented 2d-overlay nodes.
would that work for you ?

Hey @DouweDabbe,

sounds like your idea is meant for in-game processing at runtime, or am I wrong? What about editor navigation while editing the project? Could you maybe provide a .ccb demo for your example? THX

well, if anybody want's, I did had created a editor script that allows you to make the navigation smooth in CC, but there was only one bug and due to that bug I never released it. If anybody need it then let me know.

yes used for car navigation in crowded city.

Tip:
add cube nodes to 4 corners of gameworld.
texture them with neon, fuchsia etc.
double click in node explorer and you are there.
