Hey guys! I created a racing game inspired by retro 16-bit racing games! Race a Ferrari F40 on an endless highway! Overtake cars to extend time, get the highest score! The game was designed to be difficult: If you leave the track = game over If you crash into a car = game over It is necessary to use the brake well in several curves and to make a good score you need skill and training! The game has a static 2d cockpit and this was an artistic choice inspired by retro racing games! The game also has a day and night cycle, needing to turn on the headlights to see in the dark! cool game !! is challenging but i had problem with it thought i let you know the game froze after i played 3 or 4 runs im using linux/wine and have 4gb ram laptop im guessing it needs more then 4mb to run good cheers. |

Hi Quest, thanks for play! Yes, the mechanic of this game is very simple: Every few seconds the time subtract -1 of the variable "time". If the time < 0 = Game over If hit a car = Game over If off the road = Game ( I used Transparent big cubes off the road, if proximity with the Ferrari = Game over) I made a box proximity in the cars of the road, but more huge then the cars, if have a contact with the Ferrari, add more time the the variable "time" and add score points. Hi Andgameplay, The game looks and sounds really nice. It gets really fast at some point, so it's sort of hard to control from the keyboard - but it's a good challenge. I also have the same issue as Eoh, but for me it freezes after the first attempt. It seems like there are two overlapping "game over message", then main menu appears, but buttons don't work anymore. I'm on windows 10, so it seems the issue is not related to linux. |

Hi okeoke! thanks for playing my game! thanks the report! I have no idea what's happening! I played a lot the game in my pc and in my notebook and in both the game works without problems. Do you have any idea of this problem? When is game over and go to highscore scene I add the action restart the scene of game Can be maybe a problem with memory? There are to many cars, but the game restart with each time you begin again. thanks! |

So the problem is not the ram, 32gb is very high spec. Is weird, because my pc have 16gb ram and my note have 8gb ram and in both works well. Maybe the problem is some code in the game. Sometime when I try again the game, the menu screen go off and appear the highscore screen again, but just need to press enter and come back to menu screen again and work well. It happen in a random way, I think is this the problem, I need look this, to seem a bug, or did something wrong. |
