Hey guys, I have just updated my Dialogue Manager extension with major changes. I also created a visual novel template using this extension.

Below are some screenshot of the visual novel.
🔎︎

🔎︎

Below are the features that this dialogue manager provides you:-

Use of .csv files for easy dialogue framing.

Rollbacking of dialogues along with variables rollbacking.

Use of encrypted .csv files with encryption key

Text animation

Auto playback of the story based on the duration

Saving and loading features

Autosave and Quicksave with the help of 2 variables "quicksave" and "autosave".

Autoload and Quickload with the help of 2 variables "quickload" and "autoload".

Save data is encrypted with the encryption key.

Skip the keycode and mouse click for skipping.

Auto-completion of animation instead of skipping if text animation is On.

Choice-based conversation with up to 4 choices support.

Variables support with "+", "-", "*", and "/" operators.

Dialogues and character names will automatically use values of variables if used like this $variable$ instead of the actual variable name.

Playback of sound file with each dialogue (helpful for voiceovers)

Provide which variables to save in a separate line in .csv

Empty lines don't break the conversation anymore since update 1.2

Supports auto assigning Character avatars, names, and all based on .csv data

The zip archive comes with 2 actions, one is the updated dialogue manager and one is Encryption/Decryption action, that allows you to encrypt or decrypt with an Encryption key.

Download the extension from here:- https://vazahat.itch.io/dialogue...

Watch the video showcase here however the video quality is not that good:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

I tried to feature 36+ individuals from CopperCube community as characters for the visual novel template. I am sorry that I was not able to include each and everyone but I tried to cover as many as I can. My sincere apologies if the character avatar doesn't fit into your perspective and doesn't suit your personality.

Hope you guys find this useful and this might be helpful in your 3D RPG games visual novels or simple UI stuff.

This is amazing, You don't know how much I wanted to create something like this, you made it way simpler than any other engine, with Coppercube's power and Render py like visual novels creation. I think i can do something finally.

Let hope in the future there's would be a general-purposes version that let users work with JavaScript variables, and can set js varaible too.

Almost every games need a dialogue system and this expansion is sooo fit to fill that role.

Hey, this is awesome thanks a lot for sharing this. Can you please create some more content like this? I am very much interested in Coppercube tutorials, I found that you explain very well, and it's easy to understand things. Not like other people who don't try to teach things properly and just skip things.

I just want that you create more tutorials related to Coppercube, maybe start by creating basic tutorials or create a playslist where you create a game example, and as you progress through videos you just add more and more things to that game of yours explaining each and everything.

Once again thanks for what you have shared, I really find it useful being a newbie.

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the feedback.

Regarding JS variables, I am not sure why that is need but as most of the JS variables have different scopes, you don't need that.

However if your external script has some very important JS variables that you want to change dynamically during runtime, you can always translate them to CopperCube variables and use CopperCube variables instead of javascript.

The execute javascript command. If you define variabels not insiode and function, then you can also change them or acess them directly without any issue anywhere in you game in a different execute javascript action, so that's also a point.

For global variables either defined in your external scripts you can always change them at any point in your game.

Regarding YT tutorials, I am also thinking the same, but it is not easy task for me to record video, that video above itself took more than 3 hours. Because I don't prefer any cuts and all in my videos, it needs to be recorded in one run. So if there is some issues while recording than I have to re-record the whole stuff from begining.

So it becomes very time-consuming and tiresome for me to create videos but I do really want to create tutorials for CopperCube.

Thanks once again to all of you for your wonderful feedback I am really happy that you guys find this extension interesting and useful.
