I created a 3D model in Sketchup, exported it as .obj, LithUnwrap cleans it from 744 to 66 vertices, removing 678 duplicate vertices, then I import this .obj into CopperCube, and if I export it again through CopperCube as .obj, it adds these duplicate vertices back. Why ?

To clean the model of duplicate vertices, some software welds the model, some just snap close-points together.
Export will affect filesize and UV normals - based on file-format and software used. This is a common thing when importing/exporting from different software.
Editing or exporting a static model in coppercube seems to unweld the model and also reset the uv normals. This increases file-size and also introduces jagged lighting (instead of smooth normals).
Solution - whenever this happens, I simply re-weld the model in unwrap/blender and then import/replace it back into coppercube.
