Just use a 'HTML Code' element, double click it, and in the editor, enter the code you get from Google analytics. That's it.

Thanks Niko, but trying to be exact, as sometimes Analytics can be 'fussy'. Google requires the code to be before the 'body', would I presume that you use the menu feature - View => HTML Code of Page => Additional Code in header, then paste into dialogue box?
As I have tried using the HTML Code (as part of the Toolset toolbar) but I have no control as to where that goes, and I would need to make the box invisible and without border etc otherwise it shows and covers/hides anything underneath.

Any help/confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

Andy

In the HTML Code element, there is a checkbox 'Create div around code', uncheck it and the border and background is gone. Google analytics doesn't care where in your code it is placed, although they say otherwise.
But sure, you can use the code also with the HTML code editor.

Better include google analytics in WebsitePainter already, do not edit your code manually, it will get overwritten otherwise. Just use a HTML-element object in WebsitePainter and paste your analytics code in there.
